Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately we do have a strict no-pet policy. We had to make the decision to have a no-pet policy due to our front window of the dome. It’s made of a clear plastic material that could be punctured, especially by pet claws if they were to get excited or see an animal outside and jump up on the window (we have a lot of wildlife). We have full confidence your pet is well trained but we understand accidents do happen. We are hoping to have a solution to this in the future to allow for pets as our property. We apologize for this inconvenience and hope you still consider staying with us but we understand if this is not possible without your furry family members.
Do the domes have bathrooms?
Yes. Each domes has a private indoor bathroom within the dome. Each has a shower, sink, mirror, and toilet. We do provide plush towels and wash cloths for guest use along with locally sourced toiletries.
Are the domes heated in the winter?
Yes! Both domes are heated in the winter. They have both heated flooring and heat units to keep them warm and cozy.
Is the hot tub open in the winter?
YES! The hot tubs for both domes operate year round.
How do we rent both domes?
Both domes can be rented together based on availability. We do provide a discount for renting both together. If you are interested in renting both domes please send us an email and we can work with you to check availability and pricing— info@mohicanhideaway.com.
Do you offer special packages for celebrations such as a honeymoon?
Yes! We have a few options to choose from on our packages page. these can be added directly upon booking so we can prepare for your special celebration. If you want something more specific feel free to email us and we can work with you to accommodate most requests—info@mohicanhideaway.com.

When is Check-In and Check-Out?
Check-in is 3 p.m.
Check out is at 11 a.m.
Our cleaning team arrives promptly at 11:15 a.m. on the day of check-out to ensure the dome is cleaned and ready on time for the next guest arriving.
How close together are the domes?
The domes are roughly 200 ft apart and have a privacy fence separating them. They both have a private patio, hot tub and fire pit for guest enjoyment.
What areas on the property are shared between guests?
We have 7 acres to fully enjoy which includes both shared and private spaces for guests.
The shared areas of the property include:
– Parking Area
– Main pathways
– Laundry center
– Riverfront
– Kayak landing area
– Fields and woods on the property.
What can we do in the local area?
We have a lot of options of local activities and attractions for our guests in our Area Guidebook.
Can we rent kayaks/tubes for the river?
We do not provide kayak rentals but we can recommend a company that is local and wonderful to rent from. They provide a variety of kayak/tube rentals along with pick-up and drop off services. If you contact them they can work with you on possibly picking up directly at the property for a kayak/tube trip (since we are riverfront and you can end your trip right back at the property) so no driving would be needed!
Is firewood provided?
We provide a select amount of firewood for your stay.
